EXPLORING WAYS TO DO IT BETTER
From site investigation to engineering design and quality control, GeoTerra provides a variety of services for the Construction Industry.
The stability of both naturally and artificially formed slopes is susceptible to rational analysis. Slope stability is the process of calculating and assessing how much stress a particular slope can manage before failing. Stability of slopes can be increased by changing factors such as slope geometry and ground water conditions and by adding engineered reinforcement. The geology of the slope materials fixes the nature of the rock mass, which is an invariant given in any subsequent analysis.
